Beautiful, cosy cottage in a Gorgeous setting - Chagford is peaceful and quiet - if you can try and visit Blackpool Sands it is absolutely stunning Frances is an amazing host

Nice, central location for the village and also for walks in the area. Everything we needed, ref. Kitchen. Lovely comfy bed. Good shower although be aware you need to be able to step in and out of the bath, which is shown in the photos so you should know that anyway! Nice little garden which we were able to sit out in even though it was March. Good safe parking area beside the house.

The location in the heart of Chagford was just what we wanted. The cottage itself is small but ideal for a couple and has a wonderful character, warm and relaxing with well thought out facilities. There is a small enclosed garden at the back which given the weather we couldn't make much use of but in the summer would have been an excellent place to relax and unwind after trekking the moor. Parking in Chagford can be a nightmare but we were able to park in our host's drive next door. Francis was there to welcome us when we arrived and was very hospitable and helpful. A lot of thought has gone into this cottage. Chagford itself is a wonderful town with an exceptional range of interesting shops and pubs. It's a great place to use as a base or simply just to be for a while.
