A beautiful old inn,set across the road from the pretty old church and a few paces away from the centre of this lovely Dartmoor town. I received a friendly welcome,and the great local beer as well as the delicious steak & ale pie for my dinner made for a lovely stay. The room had a great view towards the church and the room was furnished with lots of lovely ornaments and quirky things!

Our room was spacious, comfortable and warm. Breakfast was excellent as was our meal in the restaurant. Amazingly decorated for Christmas. Staff were all lovely.

Beautiful location in the village. Really friendly and professional staff. Great room which was very comfy and had a lovely view from the window. Food was wonderful - evening meal and brekky!

Central location - right in the middle of the village - pleasant, spacious room with a fine view of the church directly opposite. Cheerful, helpul staff and good food.

Very charming hotel in Chagford, a wonderfull village right in the heart of Darthmoor. The Globe Inn is located in a historic building with a beautiful interior. Food and ambience are superb, as are the hosts, Mary and Graham. All in all, very much recommended.

The pub is how all country pubs should be: warm, welcoming, with lovely food and drink. The rooms (we stayed twice for one night each time) were comfortable, quiet and equipped with everything we needed.
