An amazing place for a relaxing stay in Mendoza and for visiting the vineyards. The couple who run the Refugio were exceptionally friendly and helpful. They were able to provide lots of recommendations and allowed us to check-in early. They also made a delicious homemade breakfast to help us feel at home!

Situated on a quiet street in a leafy residential area on the outskirts of Mendoza, this B&B is within walking distance of a local shopping area and a couple of vineyards. It’s also just a 20–30-minute drive from Mendoza Airport and the city centre. With Cabify being so affordable, getting into town and back costs next to nothing—allowing you to enjoy the vibrancy of the city before returning to the tranquillity of the area. The owners are a charming couple with two friendly dogs who warmly welcome guests. The rooms, though on the smaller side (converted containers), are well-equipped and tastefully decorated. Breakfast was the best we had throughout our entire trip to Argentina—an absolute highlight! Excellent value, especially in summer, with a swimming pool and plenty of space for sunbathing after a day of exploring. Highly recommended!

I loved my stay at Refugio Padma. Véro and Javi couldn’t have been better hosts. They were so kind and gave me loads of tips/advice for booking things while I was in Mendoza. The breakfast was genuinely the best breakfast I have had while travelling! The room was very comfortable and it was great to have the pool to cool off after a day exploring. The property is about a 15/20 min walk to the centre of Chacras de Coria but it is an easy walk and felt safe. Don’t hesitate to book if you’re looking to stay in the area.
