Booked as a first night stop over as we were driving from Spain to UK. Little disappointed as, when we arrived to glorious views and location we were informed that the restaurant was closed on a Wednesday. Nowhere on the website or via Booking.com is this mentioned (we wouldn't have selected this Hotel if we had known this as we had driven 7 hours and just wanted to relax and eat before forward journey) However, the gentleman on reception who greeted us was amazingly helpful and telephoned another Hotel checking they had an open restaurant and helped with booking, he also assured us that no cancellation fees would apply and a full refund would be given (they didn't have to do this) The refund was completed before we arrived at the alternative hotel 30 minutes away! Excellent service and we will be returning as, although we didn't actually stop at the hotel the views were stunning and the whole feel of the place was great. Thank you to the gentleman who facilitated this for us (sorry I didn't get your name)
