Stayed 2 nights. Great location. 20 min walk main bus and train station. Centre of historic area. With day trip to cesky krumlov. Easy direct bus 30 min. Excellent value for money. Met two receptionists both friendly and welcoming. Booked single room. Basic simple design. Everything functioned. Plug and light by bed. Comfy bed pillow and linens. Wifi good. Quiet peaceful night. Minor but suggest better curtains to block light for sleep. Very highly recommend.

You’re pleasantly surprised the moment you step inside: a subtle, pleasant fragrance fills the air – very inviting. This hotel clearly has 'a sense for the senses' and creates a calm, welcoming atmosphere from the very first moment. Check-in was warm, friendly, and highly professional – a great start. I stayed in the "Studio Apartment" (and only refers to this, as obviously the rooms are pretty different) and was truly impressed: the beautiful old wooden ceiling adds real warmth and charm to the space. The clever use of glass blocks between the bathroom and living area creates transparency and an airy openness. The bed is large and very comfortable. The kitchen was surprisingly well-equipped with everything you need for a relaxed stay, and cleanliness was excellent throughout – from bathroom to kitchen to living area. Moreover, the high-quality coffee and tea setup is thoughtful and that makes a difference. You can really feel the attention to detail. And finally – a bathtub! In a world of instant shower cabins, this was an unexpected and very welcome highlight. Combined with the tidy, well-maintained bathroom, it really added to the comfort. Although the hotel has only a very limited dedicated parking spots, there are good options nearby, so this absolutely wasn’t an issue. The breakfast was fantastic – fresh, varied, and of high quality. (Just one small suggestion: the acoustics in the breakfast room could be improved and softened a bit – perhaps starting with felt pads on the chairs legs.)
