If you are looking for five star hotel, this is not ypur place, but what you get is ten stars athmosphere in old manor house. There is excellent Italian restautant in the hotel and staff is very nice and polite. Castles and parks are near, you can walk there easily.

I chose Ruckas Muiža for our accommodation in Cēsis because it's a historical manor (and I'm interested in both history and old architecture). The manor is located in a park so it's a very quiet place to sleep, despite being within a walking distance from the town centre. Hotel guests can freely use the manor's library room and orangerie (which was a nice place to enjoy our morning coffee). Our room was very spacious and elegant, and the overall atmosphere was very relaxing. Coffee machine in the room, with beautiful porcelain cups, A++
