An excellent renovation job was done on Hotel Cesis, located a short walk straight up from the train to the traffic circle at about 2 o'clock. It's a short walk to all lovely, park-filled town's main attractions too. Our room was clean and very comfortable with old world touches and a good view of the beautiful.garden. There were three motion-sensitive lighted stairs in the room. The reception staff was very cheerful and helpful. Breakfast was plentiful and very good. We enjoyed our stay, wish it could have been longer, and would gladly stay here again. Cesis was worth the visit
