This is such a beautiful place with wonderful hosts. The views are spectacular and I'll always remember drinking my morning coffee looking out across the valley and mountains. I would say that the dinner was the best meal I've had in Albania (out of 2 visits), washed down with some tasty wine. The room was very smart and comfortable with a great mattress and good shower. If walking from Valbone, look for the well marked sign at the top of the valley before you head down into Cerem. The location avoids the big descent and morning ascent back up. You just follow the road up until you reach the cafe and re-join the trail. Just ask the hosts if you're not sure. They also provided a big packed lunch.

The accommodation may be 2x the price of others, but you're getting 3x the luxury. This was the best mountain hut we've ever stayed in. - The best view possible in Çerem - Best room in during our hike - The best food we had on our hike - Extremely nice host - Good location for the peaks of the balkans trail Perfect.
