The property was clean. The bed was large and really comfortable. The garden was lush and tidy. The view of rolling hills was serene.

Private, peaceful location but close to everything and a perfect stay with my dog. A warm welcome and I felt like I was a special guest. John, my host, gave me great ideas on places to explore and enjoy with my dog and Helena gave me some local history and the best place to go for oysters and seafood! The cabin and surrounding gardens had everything I could possibly need and more for my 4 nights stay including the company of some farm animals and many beautiful birds feeding in the trees covered in flowers in front of my verandah. The quiet and peacefulness, especially in the evening before the sun set, was very special.

I thoroughly enjoyed my weekend stay at this picturesque property. John is friendly and easy to talk to. When John was working nearby during the day on the farm, i still felt a lovely sense of privacy. The animals on the farm are adorable; I stayed on my own with my pint size dog. Altogether, it was a lovely weekend escape.
