Gisella was in touch the day before we arrived to set the scene and confirm our arrival time. She was there to greet us and explain the room etc. There was also a selection of drinks and snacks available. Gisella was a great host, really looking after us. She even baked a lovely chocolate cake for us and continued to communicate with us via WhatsApp during our stay.

The landlady's house is really lovely—there's a sweet fragrance as soon as you walk in. The room is clean and tidy, and the large balcony offers a great view. I particularly like the scent of the toiletries. I slept very well here. The landlady also provided a very detailed city travel guide. There was a little incident at the end—we parked in the wrong area (the yellow lines are for residents only), and the landlady specially came downstairs to let us know. Seeing her a bit out of breath, I felt really sorry and truly appreciated her help.

Gisella is an amazing host. Nothing is too difficult and she and her husband were warm and friendly providing many wonderful recommendations for restaurants and local attractions. The accommodation was beautifully presented, clean, private, safe and spacious. Location was perfect. In a slightly more local location which is great to return to; and avails us to great local corner pizza takeaway to enjoy on the balcony. 10 mins walk to old town and the beach… perfect place to stay in Cefalu
