I stayed in March shortly after the storm and I really appreciated being upgraded to a very comfortable lodge which was spacious and well appointed. Nice to have a sauna onsite and indoor heated pool. There’s a high quality restaurant on site and a riding stables. The accommodation, restaurant and stables are run as three separate businesses. I dined at the restaurant one night (note it’s closed on Sunday evenings and there aren’t many options nearby, but you can cook in the well equipped lodges, if you wish). The food was really good, I had fish soup and the fish of the day, which was seared tuna. The tuna was cooked perfectly, however I’m not sure why the sauce was taken from the same ingredients as the soup as they were too similar and very rich. If I’d known in advance I would have chosen an alternative dish. It was unfortunate I didn’t go riding as this was my main reason for staying here, however it was too windy when I arrived it wouldn’t have been enjoyable and I was unable to book online for my final day as I had poor reception (I was off site) and the stables were booked up on my final day, but I met experienced riders who said the they had been on really good trail rides. I advise to pre-book.

For me and my E-Bike it was in the middle of nowhere, but this place was perfect for an intermediate stay. Hope to be back for more!

Very nice place to stay. Big apartments in separate houses. Personal speaking perfect lots of languages. Beautiful view. Clean. Very good wine. I recommend.
