Really enjoyed our stay in Shire horse Barn. Perfect location as it’s only a 9 minute drive to a town. We loved the rustic feel and comfortable sofas, the garden furniture was very nice and comfortable. Well equipped kitchen with everything you need for a short stay. Good for our small dog that enjoyed running around the garden which has closed gates

Location was great. Next to a bridleway that led to the open heath area. Great for walking with the dog. Enclosed garden. On arrival it appeared good on the face of it. Rustic and spacious.

We booked both barns for 2 nights as a family group of 8 adults for a wedding at Oxnead Hall. The barns were lovely - friendly host, well decorated, comfortable beds, clean, hot showers (even with all 8 of us using the showers the morning of the wedding!). Perfect. We were only 10 minutes away from the wedding venue, too, which was great. We didn't explore the area much as we were mainly there for the wedding, but what we did see looked beautiful!
