Hubby and I spent a wonderful week at Mona Lisa to partly celebrate his 60th birthday. All areas of the hotel, including our room, fresh and very clean. Found the hotel staff - at reception, in breakfast area and housekeeping - very friendly and helpful. Particularly grateful to girls at reception for accommodating our request to be upgraded to a room with a balcony and sea view, we were delighted! Also, nice touch for hubby to receive a birthday greeting. Our bed was very comfortable and we did not hear any noise during the night, very peaceful. Good to have a mini fridge to keep drinks cold. We enjoyed the breakfasts - plenty of variety of food and drinks. Very efficiently run by breakfast staff. The facilities at hotel are excellent - seating and bar in reception area; roof terrace with views over to sea and harbour; enjoyed my early morning swims most days in the ample sized pool which has loungers and umbrellas; paid a refundable deposit to use one of hotel bikes to explore the resort for a few hours; paid hotel to use loungers and umbrella on the allocated beach area close by on our beach day - very clean and good value for money. The hotel is in ideal location, at quieter end of resort but still close to beach and harbour area and within walking distance of centre of Cattolica plus 15/20 minutes walk to railway station.
