The apartment is cosy and lovely. The best thing about it is for sure the roof top terrace. Located in the heart of Catania and very close to both bus and train station, it is the perfect starting point to discover the city and the region! We felt at home immediately. The market downstairs sells delicious (and cheap!) fresh fruit and veggies from the region. Enjoy your coffee, brioche&granita at the chiosco just in front of the door to start the day!

A very great location! The building itself might not suit everyone's expectations or taste but felt safe and loved being in the heart of Catania!

The apartment is small and cozy. It is located on the top floor of the building, right under the roof. It's a bit of a maze, and after climbing the stairs in the house to the top floor, you have to go up the stairs outside to the attic. It's weird but nice. The owner sent us a detailed description with photos on how to get to the apartment, so it's not a problem. The keys were in the keybox at the entrance gate to the yard. When unlocking the door lock from the street, the key must be pulled out of the lock a little, otherwise it cannot be turned. The apartment is sufficiently equipped with a combination of modern and older equipment, which creates an interesting atmosphere. From the apartment it is possible to go out to a spacious terrace with a couch, chairs and tables. There is a good view of the surroundings of the house from the terrace. There's even a charcoal grill on the patio, but I don't know if it's wise to heat it. I would be worried about sparks jumping to the wooden parts of the attic. The shower is very small, but sufficient for a person of average height. There are many shops in the area. We went to the nearby Decò Maxistore (https://maps.app.goo.gl/5LHtVnXKLhr2Kex77).
