The staff at Eco Hostel are some of the warmest people I've ever met! The stay felt more like staying at a B&B than a hostel. They accommodated my request to have a lower bunk, and even provided early breakfast when I said I could not join during the regular hours. They also hosted a movie and pasta night for the guests, which was quite fun. Not to forget the welcome drink! The beds were huge and so were the rooms. Overall, I had a wonderful experience at the hostel. It is also 5mins away from the city centre.

Close Hostel nearby to Catania and buzzing Piazza Santa Maria dell'Indrizzo as well as all the major sights. I visited Catania for the clubs football team (they are quite a decent distance from the Hostel but this is irrelevant really) and was in a quandary because of the late kick off time and early transport back to Palermo where I was mainly based. I needed a place of safety and warmth with somewhere to get limited but comfortable shut eye in the very early hours, this was perfect and a big thank you to Eco Hostel. They also helped greatly in accompanying me in this early check out. Both staff members upon arrival and later in the evening were warm kind and gave me all the info I needed for the stay. The Hostel itself has a relaxed vibe to everything inside and is in a quiet neighbourhood albeit still a stones throw from everything else. The lounge area particularly is massive. Beers and drinks in reception as well as breakfast available (although I missed this) The bed when I eventually managed to get back was so comfortable that I hated leaving at such an ungodly hour, all this within a fantastic price point for 1 night I can't reccomend it enough.
