Imre “Wonderful stay in the centre of Catania”

We had a very warm welcome to a superb clean, cosy and well-equipped flat. The host treated us with some pastry, biscuits, chocolate and water. Although the flat is situaed in the center, we had a quiet stay with no disturbance. The communication was smoth and helpful before and throuout our stay. We had a great time there.

Excellent value for money! This is an interesting apartment, located on 2 levels. On the ground floor there is a kitchen and a large bathroom. The kitchen is equipped with absolutely everything that is mentioned in the description, I didn’t use it. The bathroom is large, I didn’t use it. There is also WiFi in the kitchen, which only has coverage there. From a small hallway you go up a narrow staircase to the first floor. Upstairs there is a small hallway, a large bedroom with a double bed and an extendable couch, a small bedroom with a one person bed, a bathroom and two small balconies/terraces. I did not use the small bedroom. The bed in the large bedroom is comfortable. Since it was a bit cold at night, I turned on the air conditioning a few times. Oratio, the host who waited for me with the keys and showed me the apartment, is very kind. For example, he offered me a bottle of sparkling wine, a bottle of water, a panettone and some sweets, on the house. The location for me was perfect. Close to a few supermarkets, close to the departure bus station to Taormina, relatively close to the center (I walked, about 20 minutes I think, but there are also bus and metro stops nearby). I’ve always had hot water available, thanks to an electric boiler.

Orazio was a great host, he showed us around the neighbourhood. The place was very well equipped with everything we needed plus it was close to the underground which was great!
