We wanted to do more tours like the plankton but the weather has been bad with typhoons etc so tour were out of season but the island of cat ba amazing can be all seen with one of the rented mopeds which were very reasonably priced and all food restraints ( yummy 1/2) were great and nirvana bar was fun opposite. Very chilled vibe and compared to others holds up a flag saying that they count all reviews I read were true and people in Hanoi hostels saying it’s a must do is true - I’d rather have stayed here than do the 5*cruise to cat ba as the island has more to give.

Amazing vibe, felt like staying at a festival! Secret Garden had events and live music on every night, free give aways. Met loads of cool people and had lots of fun! Hostel was clean and I slept well every night!
