Located around 20 mins walking from the town centre, in a more local area, definitely quieter. Especially at night is very quiet, we had a great sleep. The room was very clean and the breakfast was fine, a banh mi with a few slices of tomato and cucumber (because we're vegan, normally there's also egg) with black coffee. Great value for money.

Mr Hung was a good host and if you want a genuine experience this is a good place to stay (it's a family house). I liked the location, a bit far away from the city center and fortunately we couldn't hear the loud karaoke all night (as people often do staying in the center). It's a 20min easy walk to the city center. The homemade food was also good. We booked a full day Ha Long/ Lan Ha Bay tour in the guesthouse and it was a good experience.

Nice local homestay Not facing the main road (so no noise from the street) but very close to it (restaurants and shops nearby) The owner speaks english and can arrange trips, transport, motorbike rental etc. for very good price compared to online prices It's a simple room but I didn't miss anything there In the end, I prolonged my stay there, it's worth it!
