Judy on reception was super helpful. Lovely pool area. Pool table with a great view. Nice hot shower. Reasonable bus service to CatBa town and scooters to rent means getting around is easy.

From the moment we booked the room, Judy was super helpful and friendly. Letting us know on WhatsApp that we should ask our bus driver to drop us near the property rather than Cat Ba Town as the price of a taxi is high. When we arrived at 8am Judy let us check in as there was a room ready, which was a lovely touch after being on a sleeper bus for 11 hours. The room itself was perfect, spacious and quiet. The pool was very well maintained, as well as the garden area. Breakfast was great, the banana and mango pancakes were delicious. The location is a 15 minute drive out of Cat Ba Town which means it is super quiet. We loved that element but it is worth noting if you don’t drive a moped then a taxi into town would be expensive. That being said you can eat lunch and dinner at the property (we didn’t, so can’t comment) and there are 2/3 other places to eat within a walking distance. Great pool table available without charge and the drinks fridge was well priced, well stocked and always cold.

The home stay has a lovely pool set on a hill, with good seats to recline in. The balcony restaurant affords a glimpse of the sea, between buildings. It’s about a 10 minute drive out of the noise of Cat Ba town and beautiful and quiet. Judy behind reception is marvellous - full of advice, helpful and able to organise things easily
