Mountain view is a cuddle! :) It’s quite far from the town center, so no restaurants or night life around but this was precisely what I was looking for so perfect for me. It’s very quiet, calm and relaxing and the only noise you’ll hear at night are the lizards - very funny ones! I want to give 100 points (out of 10) to the staff: THEY ARE THE BEST! Super helpful with a anything you might ask of need and very knowledgeable about the island: they will give you tips and info about where to go, what to do and they also have some tours they can book for you. I did with them the boat tour to Ha Long and Cat Ba Bay and I was very satisfied. Definitely recommend Mountain View if you are looking for a chill and relaxed place to stay with lovely people who’ll make you feel like home! <3 PS: I even got upgraded to a bungalow room after the first night at no additional costs :)

Very kind, educated and attentive staff and kind, humble and hard working owner. Delicious food. Nice relaxed atmosphere. Pool and bar on the top of the hill. Lovely blend of foreigners and locals living/ working there. Beautiful traditional thatched roof on main building and small buildings.

John and Quinn are such nice hosts. They really care about your stay and your confort also they helped us Booking our day-trip. We also got a nice room and the view is very nice :)

Lovely staff, super helpful organising the motorbikes, tours, breakfast and really friendly. Located not too far from downtown and good view from the pool. Rooms were great too
