Very nice furnished property, great location in center (max. 10min walking from bus station), good breakfast, and - mainly - very kind and helpful staff! :) English speaking, too.

We wanted to visit the castle, hence our choice of an overnighter in Castrovillari - unfortunately, the castle was closed and the town is not an obvious tourist destination. However, dig deeper and this means a fabulous night out with locals! We found free on-street parking nearby relatively easily but finding Del Cavaliere proved harder, as we approached it on foot from the 'wrong' direction, so missed the sign. Once we found it, we had to phone the owner who buzzed us into the building, and then our room (Rosso) remotely - we then found an entry card to use for the rest of our stay. Very big room - a little dark but with good lighting. Very well equipped - huge and comfy bed, lots of storage space. Very quiet location so we slept well. We finally met a staff member the next morning, for a traditional sweet Italian breakfast. Wi-fi was good.

The location was very good. The Breakfast was excellent. The room was large with good facilities. Bathroom was excellent. Once we located the property and made contact with the host everything went well. There is free parking nearby the property which was very helpful. the host referred us to a restaurant nearby where we had an excellent meal.

Great room, pretty, spacious and full of facilities and comforts
