The location is nice if you want to be away from anywhere busy. It's right next to a quiet river, at the bottom of a hill and you can really enjoy the silence of nature. The outdoor area has been made really nice. We enjoyed having our dinner and breakfast there. The cottage itself looks pretty on the outside and is quite comfortable on the inside. The amount of space was adequate for us and the bed was comfortable. The kitchenette was fit for purpose.

We liked the super quiet atmosphere of the location: the house we stayed at was at the bottom of a hill next to a river. It's far away from anywhere and you can truly relax in the nature. The area across the river had burned down in September 2024 fires so the scenery, unfortunately, reminds you of that. However, the patch the house is on is lush and green so you can enjoy it. The house is rather small but comfortable. The kitchenette was adequate for our needs and we were able to eat in the nice outdoor area.

We had a peaceful four day stay here in a lovely renovated slate stone cottage overlooking the river. It was very clean, had a good sized well equipped kitchen, separate double bedroom and bathroom, plus an undercover veranda we had every meal on. It's a really special place, with personal touches. There is also a larger cottage nearby if you are in a family or bigger group. You can walk along the river front, or walk up to town on laneways if you want a cafe, restaurant or groceries. It's under an hour to the 516 suspension bridge and other tourist sites. You have to call the owner when you get there, who then comes down to show you through the property.

It’s a new property , beautiful surroundings, wonderful views of the river and mountain , great for nature walks and the little village nearby had a little grocery and coffee shop for essentials if needed
