Our hosts were wonderful and checked in to make sure we had everything we needed (we stayed for 2 weeks). We loved the kitchen facilities, it had everything we could ever need. The location was great. We didn't have a car but the local buses came through Castletown several times a day. It was easy to get to John O'Groats, Dunnet Head, Thurso and Wick (If you go to Orkney on the early ferry, you'll need to walk from Thurso to Scabster). The central heating was great and we could adjust it down when needed. It was very comfortable, perfect for our needs and a home away from home.

The owners greeted us upon arrival, lovely people. The house was comfortable and warm and extremely well kitted out. Lots to see and do in the general area.
