Comfortable, warm, clean and well equipped room. A little on the small side but adequate for a short stay. Great position in the heart of Castleton. Handy parking directly opposite.

Location is fabulous. The owner was very welcoming and gave us some good suggestions for places to eat. He was also happy for us to leave the car a little longer after checkout. Place was very clean and we had some complimentary cereal left for us which was handy.

Brilliant location in the centre of Castleton, with its own parking area. Friendly, helpful owners/staff. Comfortable room with plenty of drawer and hanging space for clothes. Good bathroom with spa bath, huge towels and modern lighting. More provided than we expected, including cutlery, cereals and milk. We will be returning.

The location was perfect for all the different walks. It was a couple of minutes walk to all the village amenities. I didn’t need to use the car at all. The breakfast basket had a variety of cereals or croissants with plenty of tea and coffee and the fridge was stocked with milk and orange juice. The jacuzzi bath was lovely after completing the 12k MamTor/Losehill walk.

Lovely clean room added bonus of fresh milk, orange juice, and tea/coffee facilities was a nice touch too. Great location right in the heart of Castleton. Easy access to local walks, cafes, restaurants, and pubs.
