Very easy to find keys, although I knew I didn't get a signal on my phone in Castleton so in advance I had screen grabbed the code. The lock box location and code working were easy enough. Mushroom cottage is the kind of place I want to retire to, view of Winn Hill and Lose Hill, in Hope Valley, quiet end of lane, historic refurbished stable in a small country location. Perfect size with everything mod con related. Plenty of room despite being a small abode. Nicely finished with period features. Great stay!

Lovely little barn conversion. Very cozy & warm. Bed so comfortable. Close to the centre of the village and plenty of on street parking available.

Good use is made of the space available in this characterful cottage. It is in a superb location within walking distance of the centre of Castleton and is quiet. You can go hiking directly from the cottage and don’t need your car. The bed is very comfortable and the sofa is lovely and squishy and comfy. There are beautiful views from the windows on the upper floor (but we had to try to clean the windows to see them better). Contrary to what some people have said, the shower was nice and hot and worked fine, but as it‘s a wet room, the floor does get wet and takes a long time to dry with the fan heater. A deck scrubber and a squeegee would be useful to help speed up the drying process.

Price. Location. View across Hope Valley. Had everything we needed in the cottage. Some reviews mentioned the shower but we found it worked perfectly. We did not have any issues parking outside or very close the cottage.
