We enjoyed our stay. The house offered great privacy and plenty of space to unwind. It was relaxing to sit with the stove lit while the rain poured outside. Our dogs loved exploring the gardens, and we also brought them to Off Lead Agility about 30 mins away, which was a great alternative given the wet weather. Our teenage daughter really enjoyed the board games and the lovely welcome pack with goodies. A peaceful, cosy getaway, we would happily return!

Self catering but we had everything we needed and the host left us bread milk eggs and a basket of goodies thanks for that

This property is incredible. It’s the cleanest holiday home we have stayed in by far. Everything was spotless. When we arrived the host had left us a welcome pack, which was exceptional, a basket of treats, milk,eggs, bacon, bread and juice! The beds were so comfortable and the open fire at night time was fantastic! The washing machine wasn’t working after one wash and I spoke to the owner directly and within 30mins he had a new one purchased and plumbed in. He couldn’t have been anymore accommodating. The kitchen in this property is exceptional. Everything is well stocked with the best of quality items. The cooker also has 5 rings, and I think it’s a hotplate and a double oven. The grounds of the home are fantastic for our animals and the electric gates make it feel more secure. We had the pleasure of meeting the Pygmy goats as soon as we arrived. They had hopped over the fence. This definitely felt like a home from home and like I said previously the cleanest, well kept holiday home we’ve ever used. We will definitely be back!!
