The hotel has a quirky decor which made our stay interesting. The room was comfortable although the lighting levels were too low for the decorations. There is a separate restaurant within the complex under different management which has very good food and extremely helpful and friendly staff.

We had a truly wonderful stay at JHD Dunant Hotel, and we’d gladly give it 5 stars! Our experience began on a very positive note, thanks to Pamela at the reception. She welcomed us warmly, explained everything in fluent English, and made sure we felt well-informed and comfortable from the moment we arrived. What really stood out was her kind gesture of switching to our native language after learning we were visiting from India. It was such a thoughtful and personal touch that made us feel genuinely cared for. Pamela went above and beyond to help us with anything we needed — from local tips to discovering hidden gems — and her professionalism, cultural sensitivity, and warmth made a lasting impression. She is truly an asset to the hotel! The rest of the staff were equally friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with a smile. We also really enjoyed the breakfast — fresh, varied, and well-served in a lovely setting. All in all, we had an excellent experience and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area!
