We travelled as a family of 4 - with a 5yr old and a 2yr old. The flat was perfect for us - lots of space, really comfortable, really clean, wonderful and safe enclosed outdoor space that the kids loved exploring. The area is safe and quiet with nice restaurants nearby. Mauro was on a trip but kept in contact, very friendly and gave some really great advice about getting into Bologna and a family friendly walking tour through the city to a restaurant that we had booked. Mauro’s daughter Laura met us at the accommodation and was also really friendly and kind. Booked a local restaurant for us on our first night. The service we received from Mauro and Laura was like no other we have ever had - truly above and beyond. I wholeheartedly recommend this accommodation and would choose to stay here again.

Very good location for visiting the neighborhood. Mauro waited for us with the keys and provided information about shops and restaurants around. He also shared things to see in Bologna. We had no problems with parking. The apartment itself is very spacious and clean. All necessary equipment (and more) was in place. We felt at home. There is a very nice (and big) garden there and we spent time sitting on the terrace. Mauro was extremely helpful and he made sure we had everything we needed. And as always the real test comes when you hit problems. We had a complex tooth problem and Mauro and his wife Barbara helped us to find a dentist, set an appointment and even offered to go with us to provide translation. We really appreciate their help - it is difficult to handle those things in a foreign country. Extremely recommended.

We loved the facilities - we cooked both dinner and breakfast at the apartment, and ate in the very pleasant garden balcony. The hosts were very friendly and helpful.
