The property was beautiful and the owners Pedro and Catalina and D. Conceição made us feel very welcome indeed. Breakfast was delicious and definitely set us up for the day ahead! We visited in December and there was always a fire in the grate to take the chill off.

Staying here was wonderful. Hills rolled out in front of us. Staff couldn't have been kinder, food was fresh and good, region perfect for days out. Near the mountains, winters feel gentle, summers invite a dip in the pool. Crystal clear skies—no light pollution to spoil them, ideal for watching the stars.

We received a wonderfully warm welcome at Carvalhal Redondo Farm House. Everything is tastefully decorated with great attention to detail — it’s clear that a lot of thought and care went into it. Breakfast was truly special. It was varied and absolutely delicious, with juices from the farm's own orchard and homemade cakes. If we’re ever in the area again, we’ll definitely stay here once more. Many thanks to Pedro and the team!
