We had a very pleasant stay at Vila Maria. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet, perfect for resting after a day of hiking in the area. The location is great and the area is very peaceful. The host is a very sweet and kind lady. The outdoor terrace is wonderful and a lovely place to relax. However, the real highlight is the breakfast: homemade cakes and pastries, homemade bread, and a selection of more than ten different jams made from the fruit of their own trees. There are also cheeses and everything you could possibly want for a great breakfast. Everything was prepared with great care. We would definitely stay here again.

Breakfast was exceptional with lots of choice from home made cakes and jams, breakfast cereals, fruit, cheeses, toast and eggs. Coffee was unlimited and our hostess was always ready shuould we want anything else.
