Fantastic location in an amazing town. Felt like home. Super clean and organised and the most comfortable beds on our month long Italian holiday! View of Mt Etna absolutely stunning, as were the church bells playing their tune, cute neighbourhood with locals all around, not many tourists on our street. Home location was perfect, many cafes/ restaurants only a couple minutes walk up the windy paths. Giuseppe was very efficient with communication and extremely kind, even when we drove off with the parking permit, eeek! Castelmola is truly most special and will always have place in our hearts.

The host was marvelous and really great and helpful with everything - messaging before, during and after our visit to make sure we were happy and had everything we needed. The apartment and especially the kitchen were very well equipped. The apartment is in a ZTL but you can drive down to the house and park a few minutes away (with a card the owner provides). That was a big plus for us. We also used the bus to Taormina which departs roughly every 2 hours. Walking down to Taormina is steep but beautiful and took us roughly 45 minutes. We loved the view on Mount Etna from the bedroom and would certainly come back.
