Prior to and throughout our stay we were in contact with Mario who handed over the keys and walked us through the property to show us the gas meter, boiler location etc. Mario gave us benefit of his local knowledge so we were able to prioritise out trips, and gave us a bottle of his homemade wine which was very good! Mario was the perfect host and the property has everything you need.

The hosts are very friendly and responsive people. It's very quiet and beautiful place. There is a good restaurant nearby.

A beautifully restored old stone building surrounded by nature and with fantastic views of the surrounding countryside. Well-equipped, including very good WiFi connection. The host, Mario, is so kind and generous - he even gifted us some Lambrusco (the local speciality!). There is a lovely restaurant just around the corner from the property, which is great if you don't feel like cooking at home. Overall, a great place to say if you want to explore Reggio-Emilia.
