Tobias “Beautifully renovated old house in a wonderful location”

Beautiful and authentic old house right in the centre of "uptown" Castellabate, recently renovated and immaculately clean. The piazza is indeed only 44 steps away, and many very good restaurants are nearby. There are also two small but well-stocked mini markets on the road towards Perdifumo (about 10 minutes walk). There's a path to walk to Spiaggia del Pozzillo (downwards approx 20 mins) and the golden beaches of Santa Maria are only a short drive away (10 mins by car). The whole house is lovingly furnished, the pictures are 100% accurate. There is a small entrance area on the ground floor with a large wardrobe. On the spacious open-plan first floor there is a very well equipped kitchen, a dining table for 4 people, a very comfortable sofa area and a small toilet (with a view :-)) with a sink and small washing machine. On the top floor there are two bedrooms: a small one facing the alley and a larger one with a desk and balcony. The small and sunny balcony is very nice to sit on and have a glass of wine – and offers a phenomenal view of the green landscape and the sea towards Ogliastro (but is a bit small for breakfast or sun-bathing). The bathroom on the upper floor has, as already mentioned, a very low ceiling, but you get used to it. Reception and key handover was very nice and uncomplicated. Highly recommended!
