Lovely old Italian villa with a mix of charming original features and modern flair. Friendly welcome, good communication. Access to garden and roof terrace with views over the lake. Quiet and tranquil location. Very near to the train station to Rome and to the village square and Papal Palace.

The accommodation was situated on a hill overlooking the lake. The views were spectacular. The accommodation was open plan and very modern with plenty of space for everyone. The host was amazing & on site should any need arise. It is a beautiful space.

This was the best place we stayed in for a month travelling in Portugal and Italy. It is wonderfully located. We were travelling by train and this place is only 5-10 minutes walk from the train station and only 10 mins walk from the historical town square. Castel Gandolfo is a beautiful place and Villa Foriti’s location allowed our party of four to maximise our enjoyment of it. Perched halfway up the hill overlooking the lake the views from our room and the roof top deck were truly stunning!. We were also able to go for regular swims in the beautifully clean lake and spent a wonderful day walking around it (highly recommended this). Would truly recommend this place. If we could rate it higher than 10 (tun it up to 11!) we would.

As other have mentioned, this property has STUNNING views over Lake Albano which is certainly the highlight. It is relatively well-equipped with a washing machine and small kitchen, though some essentials (such as sugar, salt, coffee etc) in the kitchen wouldn’t go astray. There was some water in the fridge (which was appreciated), but nothing else - so come equipped! The location is very convenient, located between the station and the Centre, making traversing between the two on foot relatively simple. That being said, it is on quite a steep hill so those with mobility issues or young children may certainly be challenged by the mount of uphill walking (on cobblestones, with steps) required. We visited in summer and enjoyed a visit to Lake Albano for a swim, which was a convenient 5 minute drive away.
