I stayed at the Rifugio Teggiate for just one night as a stopover on the way to a mountain climb. The Rifugio is located in a meticulously renovated historic Casa Cantoniera, right on the road up to Passo Spluga. The building may look somewhat rough on the outside, but is certainly is comfortable inside. All rooms are carefully renovated, maintaining the original wood panels and natural stones, while ensuring modern comfort. The team is very friendly, everything is very clean, there is a good Italian breakfast in the morning and free parking in front of the building. Happy to come back!

Perfect location, on the Splügenpass. Very quiet at night. The staff is very, very friendly. The food is very tasty and fast. The rooms are nice and the bed was perfect.
