We stayed in 2 apartments. Group of 4 friends. We were a very short walk to the main area of bars & restaurants. A short walk to beach but a very steep hill down to everything & back up. Therefore not suitable for those unable to do this or you can use taxi. Other than this Carvoeiro is a lovely place & Monte Dourado apts are wonderful, clean and well equipped. We also had a lovely view. Some noise from work in neighbouring buildings but this can’t b helped.

Very good location, everything reachable by foot, spacious apartment, comfortable for two couples as each of us had our own bathroom. Good pool, as we were staying at Monte Dourado at the end of season (beginning of November) we were almost the only ones by the pool and the weather was brilliant to enjoy sunbath☀️

Upon arrival, we received a lovely welcome & were told everything we needed to know. We loved the pool area, couldn't get the kids out of them!! Our 2 bedroom apartment was really nice & spacious, the 2 bathrooms were brilliant as we had 2 walk in showers & a separate bathroom. Reception were so helpful anytime we had any query & a big thank you to Andrea for assisting us with a later checkout.
