Our check-in was in person by the housekeeper of our host, who was on holiday. The spacious "country" home suited our large family well, especially with the pool and outdoor fenced backyard that bordered on a bike path along the Seine river. The 4 + 1 bedrooms, were spacious and all the beds were reportedly comfortable. The windows open wide which allows for a great breeze to come through the home. There were plenty of glasses, and the coffee maker worked well. There are some staples in the kitchen cupboard so check first before buying more. Two of the bathrooms have no sink - just a toilet so be sure to bring sanitizer. The master bathroom is huge and I love the space. Our site housekeeper Elodie was very responsive.

This is a beautiful, stylish, airy house with lots of space and a beautiful garden in the quiet suburb of Carrierres sur Seine but with all the delights of Paris a short train journey away. It suits a multi generation family holiday with plenty of options for a variety of rural or urban activities. Nathalie is an exceptional host, on hand just over the road and hugely helpful
