The room was lovely with a balcony. We liked the picnic breakfast delivered each morning and the cheese and wine available each afternoon. The staff were very friendly. It’s a short walk to the town and the beach.

The staff was very friendly, the free breakfast in a basket was a nice touch with some fresh options. The room was clean and we even had an ocean view. The air was so nice and fresh! The location is great - just a couple of blocks from downtown, but a nice and quite street. The free parking was such a perk as there is limited parking in the area.

Close to the centre of Carmel and walkable to the main restaurant area, but it is up a hill and it might be a trial for some people. The walk from the beach is tough. Carmel looks flat on a map, but it’s quite hilly. Hotel has parking and after we spent on a room upgrade we were happy with our room. Rooms have microwave. They bring you a breakfast basket in the morning with juice, fruit and pastries which they varied from day to day, which was nice.
