Extremely attentive host for whom nothing was too much trouble. Very comfortable and well equipped rooms. Preparation and presentation of food was excellent. Good value for money.

Perfectly formed breakfast with good choices available. The fresh fruit was properly fresh and the bacon and sausage of a high quality. The marmalade was fantastic - I think homemade- and a superb tangy balance to the Full English. Watching the wild birds on the birdfeeder as we breakfasted was great (including the greater spottedwoodpecker) and a sunset stroll up the field to the observation point/hut was a great end to the day.

Excellent location, as I had planned to visit gardens and all within easy reach of the property. Excellent breakfast and choice. Clean, comfortable, good parking and very good host Martin.
