Clean hotel. Good mattress and shower pressure. Very good breakfast. Friendly desk staff. Located on the highway south of town, towards the Caverns.

Staff were great and even baked some fresh cookies in the evening to go with a cup of coffee. The room was comfortable and clean although a slightly smaller version than other la quintas that we have stayed at.

It’s new, modern. There was ample parking. The lobby area was inviting, plenty of comfortable seating, and very clean. It’s easy to get to, close to restaurants, and conveniently close to Carlsbad National Park (25 miles). The king room was nicely decorated with a seating area. All staff we encountered we very accommodating and friendly. Breakfast was decent - the normal eggs, meat, potatoes, waffles, toast, bagels, cereal, etc. The outdoor pool area was not open at the time of our visit.
