Breakfast and my hosts were excellent as was the condition of my room. I very much look forward to staying there again on next year's annual fishing trip up to the very north of Scotland The only caveat that I have (Not a complaint) is that my room was on the ground floor right next to the front door, the main and very noisy road and the seating area just outside my window, so I did not get much sleep that night. That will NOT stop me booking again next year with my brother rather than on my own only next time I will try and book a room at the BACK of the Lodge. Good luck to all at the Lodge.

Arkale Lodge is a greatly located accommodation in Carlisle. Situated directly opposite the shops - ASDA, Poundland etc, and also close to restaurants. Staff - Ishwar - was a excellent host, providing additional support that made my short stay a really comfortable one.

Right next door to a pub that did food so we booked a table and signed in for their car parking. Perfect.
