The whole team was warm, friendly, and professional. Service in the restaurant was outstanding; the food, sublime....cheese soufflé, roast duck, and cheese & biscuits. The location is breathtaking - the views, stunning. Large, spacious room, comfy bed, huge and powerful shower, and great views of the river.

Everyone was friendly, the waitresses worked hard & were pleasant. The grounds are stunning though we couldn't do the river walk. Easy to find & the food lovely.

Period house with exceptional views. The lady of the house was welcoming and said there was a walk from the house along the river, she kindly showed me 2 rooms as we had friends arriving later. We had the New room, with great views over the river. Very clean and tidy and the bed and bedding was very comfortable. Our Weimaraner could just look out of the windows and watch the world go by. The Halls dog is called boots (pointer) and is very friendly and shares beautifully. There is a tennis court to use which is a nice touch. We sat down to dinner and the Hall kindly accommodated us in a separate dinning room so that we could relax with our dog, they went above and beyond and again at breakfast.
