I recently stayed at this beautiful B&B with my young son and my mum, who is in the late stages of secondary cancer. This trip was incredibly important to us — one last chance to be together in a peaceful place, away from hospitals and stress. What we found here was more than just accommodation; it was a sanctuary. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with such kindness and sensitivity. The hosts went out of their way to make us comfortable, anticipating our needs without ever being intrusive. They welcomed us like family, offering not only hospitality but genuine care — something that meant the world to us given the circumstances. The setting was absolutely stunning — tranquil gardens, cozy rooms filled with light, and quiet corners perfect for rest and reflection. Mum was able to enjoy the fresh air and birdsong each morning, which lifted her spirits in a way I hadn’t seen for a while. My son had space to play and be joyful, which brought life and laughter into a time that’s otherwise been heavy for us. We left with full hearts. This B&B gave us a gift no words can fully capture: a gentle, memorable time together, wrapped in warmth and care. Thank you for making this chapter of our family’s story a beautiful one.
