The cottage is located behind a farm barn so you have the added bonus on observing a working farm from the upstairs windows. And the garden which contains two apple and a pear tree is overlooked by cows which come to say hello (or keep the noise down who knows what cows actually say) whilst roaming what became known as the telly tubby hill (within our group) just beyond the traditional water pump. So take a bbq and enjoy this little gem in the southern lakes.

Julie was incredibly hospitable and manages a lovely property, no problem too big or small (not that there were many at all) and her welcome set you up for a great stay! would go again tomorrow!
