The cottage is very spacious, clean and fully equipped. Downstairs is a large sitting room with comfy chairs, settee, tv. Kitchen area has gas cooker, fridge/freezer, dining table, chairs, and everything needed for holiday cooking and eating, Upstairs is a huge bedroom with a large, comfy bed, settee, tv and plenty of hanging and storage space, with toilet and shower off. Everywhere is tastefully decorated and attractive. Outdoors is a large paved area with rockery and seating, then a long, well maintained paddock looking out over fields, with Lakeland fells in the distance. The views all round are marvellous, looking out over surrounding villages and the vast expanse of Morecambe Bay in the distance. We highly recommend Cocklers as a lovely relaxed place to spend your evenings after a full and interesting day exploring the local area and a fascinating bit of the British coastline.⁸
