Great setting and and amazing building. Yes its an old building but superbly maintained. Staff where extremely friendly and caring, food was good, room was very good and a very comfy bed. Access is a doddle although they have no lift and stairs are quite steeep (but they do tell you that at the time of booking etc)

We got married there it’s definitely the best place to go and the staff are definitely the best staff at a hotel I have ever been in make you welcome and cannot do enough for u you should be very proud you have a amazing team of staff there

Beautiful grounds, lovely entrance, bar and dining area. 2 fires burning created a warm and welcoming feel. The staff were so welcoming and lovely to us and the chickened provided us with excellent recomebdats for day trips which we would have never had gone to if not recomended.

Hidden gem! Beautiful building with a very calm and relaxed ambience. Felt like we were staying at a country house rather than at an anonymous hotel. All the staff were so helpful and friendly. Dinner and breakfast was served in the panelled dining room with pristine white tablecloths. All the food was delicious. Would certainly recommend.
