The accommodation surpassed my expectations, primarily because of the newly installed bathroom (with good, spacious cubicle shower) and comfy bed. The hotel looked to be one of those old, shabby looking joints on the outside but the room was very comfortable.

The building looked super old from the outside, even scary to enter. When we entered nobody was at the registration and we had to wait for 20 min. But the guy was very nice and helpful and also spoke English. And the facilities inside were decorated very stylishly. Some bright color doors, light purple stairs, retro style paintings, the conditioning system worked very well.

Staff at front desk friendly and helpful. Room was a good size, bed comfortable, and bathroom was bright and clean. Easy check in and out. Location was perfect and very close to where I needed to be. Would definitely book again for visiting Carcassonne. Also great value for the room and location.
