Beautiful old house that is in need of some tender loving care and renovation. We stayed in the old house right behind the small chapel, so can only speak for that part. The rooms are simple with an older carpet and curtains. As anywhere in the Azores the house and rooms show traces of the high humidity. It’s a great place for larger groups as it’s very spacious and includes a restaurant. It must be stunning in the summer when you can also enjoy the beautiful gardens! Food was solid and good for the price. My breakfast highlight was the fresh local cheese sprinkled with herbs and olive oil. Staff was very kind and helpful!

The building is very special, beautiful but old! My original room had a bit of an issue due to this, but the staff was super nice and found me another one without any hassle. I hope they manage to renovate the buildings soon. I really appreciated the dinner - I wouldn't have had any idea where to go to eat on a Sunday evening a bit out of season.

Great hotel complex not far away from Ponta Delgada. Nice place, seems like countryside, restaurant with really delicious food and great service.
