Below Lions Head lies the stylish, elegant Villa, The Walden Suites provide quiet, sunny accommodation with fantastic views of the Atlantic Ocean, Robben Island and Table Bay. Most rooms have direct access to balconies and terraces shared or private, featuring amazing Seaview or Mountain facing rooms and suites. All rooms have a SMART TV for Netflix or Showmax etc., working desks, bathrobes and pool towels available. Fans for summer, no noisy air-conditions. Guests can make use of 24-hour HIGH SPEED Wi-Fi Internet access throughout the property or simply pass easy, lazy days on the sun deck that surrounds a 17mtr extra length salt-water swimming pool. Tea and coffee station available in your room with delicious cookies and daily mineral water is complimentary. Fully stocked honestly bar with everything you desire and a snack bowl. Delicious cake and teas available daily from our kitchen. Our hot and cold Breakfast buffet is large and tasty, and our breakfast team offers all kinds of eggs cooked to your liking to get your day started. Our Team at The Walden suites, is a happy team and will make you feel part of the family. We offer the ease of Tour bookings and Shuttle services, including Restaurant reservations. Please note, parking is at no charge and available on a 1st come 1st serve basis. Street parking very secure and no problem at all. Guests enjoy easy access to all tourist attractions and business centres within the Cape Region. Nearby attractions include Fresnaye Sports club, Bantry Bay, Sea Point sports promenade for cycling, running and amazing walks, local restaurants and Clifton Beach all nearby. Couples particularly like the location — they rated it 9.4 for a two-person trip.

A shared large balcony and panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean. Suite with a King size bed, sofa bed and dressing room, single bed and ceiling fan. Private bathroom with a bath, shower and amenities. Please note that the rate is based on 2 guests. Maximum occupancy is 4 guests (see Hotel Policies). This room can accommodate a baby cot upon request. The extra person rates vary according to the season and may be lower than indicated in the policies.

Queen Room with Balcony - enter dates to see room photos

This room is Mountain side with a shared balcony. It features a SMART TV, Desk, ceiling fan and en suite bathroom with bath tub, shower and all amenities. Please note, that extra beds cannot be accommodated in this room. Baby cot is available on request.

Comfort Room Balcony Seaview (I) - enter dates to see room photos

Offering spectacular sea-views, this room has a private balcony. Enjoy the ocean view from your open plan bathroom. Please note that a baby cot or fold out bed is available on request. Charges may apply for children depending on the age of child, please see (Hotel Policy)

Budget Room Balcony Seaview - enter dates to see room photos

This room has a large shared balcony with sea views and features a TV, desk and ceiling fan. There is a separate, private bathroom located across from the room with a shower and amenities. Please note, this is the only room in our establishment non en-suite for Budget travelers.

Double or Twin Room with Side Sea View - enter dates to see room photos

Pool side room with shared terrace. This room features a TV, desk, ceiling fan, sea views from the pool terrace only and offers 1 king-size bed or 2 single beds. The bathroom is en-suite with a shower. This room type can accommodate 2 extra children on a sleeper couch. Please note that the price is based on 2 guests. This suite has a king-size bed and features a TV, desk, ceiling fan, large lounge/living room with fireplace and shared terrace. The en-suite bathroom has a shower and large bath. This suite features sea views from the pool side terrace only. This room type can accommodate 2 extra children on a sleeper couch. Please note that the price is based on 2 guests. We loved our stay at The Walden Suites. Having travelled around 28 hours from New Zealand it was so nice to arrive somewhere friendly, comfortable, quiet and not a huge faceless hotel. Fresnaye is beautiful and close to some great restaurants and the room was light, airy and tastefully decorated. We spent loads of time on the balcony with a stunning seaward view and the breakfasts were great. Melanie and the rest of the team were all helpful and lovely to deal with. We braved the pool, which was refreshing! It was September...
