The hotel is beautifully decorated and in a great location. Our room had everything we needed, but small details dropped the standard: fraying towels, a chipped basin, and exposed wires on the hairdryer. We requested an early check-in (knowing we were landing early), but were told there’s an extra hourly charge before 3pm, which isn’t mentioned upfront. So we waited around in the lobby, then ended up working from a nearby restaurant. Parking is across the street at R85/day, and in Cape Town's rain and wind, that made things tricky. Lovely hotel overall, but the finer details could be improved.

The STAFF is amazing, and they all love their jobs and do everything and more to make your stay memorable. The food and wine selection are amazing. You will not be disappointed with this booking and the area is easy for all travels and sightseeing.
